Ea sports announces Draft Champions Ranked Season 2 has ended! With that end comes more exciting news from EA about the start of Salary Cap Ranked Beta Season 3, but first lets go over what you need to know about Season 2 ending as well as what Season 3 has in store!
DRAFT CHAMPIONS RANKED SEASON 2 ENDED – APRIL 26TH, 2016
Season 2 ended with the release of Salary Cap Ranked Beta to the community. Digital prizing will be awarded for all players who reach the top 64 and better prizing for those who make it further in the online tournament.
The top 2 competitors, from each platform, will be invited to the next live tournament. Rules for this event will be coming soon so stay tuned for the latest information. The next steps for Season 2 can be found below.
Season 2 will culminate with an online tournament which will send the top two competitors to an invitational tournament that will take place during the Salary Cap Ranked Beta Season 3 time period.

SALARY CAP RANKED BETA SEASON 3 BEGAN ON APRIL 26TH, 2016
Season 3 kicks off right where Season 2 left off with gamers competing in Madden NFL 16 latest game mode. You can rank up from April 26th through May 23rd to earn your spot into the start of the Madden NFL 16 qualification and on your way to win your share of $50,000.
Invites to the online elimination tournament will go out on 24th, 2016, giving competitors 4 weeks to climb the leaderboards. Season 3 will conclude on June 30th, 2016, allowing players to earn Season rewards.
MAY 6TH-7TH DRAFT CHAMPIONS RANKED SEASON 2 ONLINE ELIMINATION EVENT
“The top 64 players, from both consoles, will compete head to head in an online single elimination tournament that will lead to the May 14th Online Elimination Group Stage and subsequent finals. From that four competitors will earn a trip to California to the Madden Championship Playoffs (Two players from each console).”
The top four gamers from Draft Champions Ranked Season 2 will advance to the Salary Cap ranked Beta Season 3 Invitational where they will face off against the top four finalists from the Madden Challenge.
MAY 23RD SALARY CAP RANKED BETA SEASON 3 TOP 64 COMPETITORS NAMED
The top 64 gamers, from both consoles, will advance to the online elimination phase. May 26th-28th they will compete head to head in an online single elimination tournament that will advance players to the Live Playoffs on June 10th-11th where eight players will advance to the Madden Championship at EA Play on June 12th-14th.
JUNE 10TH-11TH LIVE PLAYOFFS: SALARY CAP RANKED BETA SEASON 3 & DRAFT CHAMPIONS RANKED SEASON 2
The top four players from both consoles, coming out of the online elimination phase, will advance to the Live Playoffs on June 10th-11th where they will compete for their chance to play in the Live Finals at EA Play on June 12th-14th.
The top four gamers from Draft Champions Ranked Season 2 will advance to the Salary Cap ranked Beta Season 3 Invitational where they will face off against the top four finalists from the Season 1 Madden Challenge.
The top four players from the Madden Challenge (Season 1 Draft Champions) will be invited to participate in this finals event.
The Championship will take place at EA Play in Los Angeles, CA on June 14th, 2016.
WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEAN FOR YOU?
It means opportunity. Season 2 has come to a close, but Season 3 has just begun, get out their and start competing to climb the rankings. It also means that more competition is coming and your chance to win a share of $50,000 is right around the corner.
