MUFL Wild Card Round: Road Teams Shake Up the Bracket as Va Dimes and Saint Await

October 24, 2026

Four road wins and two No. 7 seeds advancing set up a Divisional Round that puts the league’s Super Bowl favorites on notice.

The Madden Underground Franchise League playoffs opened with both No. 2 seeds going home. Four visiting teams advanced, and four of the six games were decided by six points or fewer.

Tru Legend, Berko, Automatic COB, Assassin, Limitless and King survived. Foody, Huncho, WRWoody, Blaze, Memphis Doug and TG saw their championship pursuits end.

Now Va Dimes and Saint enter the picture. Widely viewed around the league as the eventual Super Bowl matchup, the two top seeds will begin their postseason against opponents who have already overturned the bracket.

Tru Legend runs through Foody — Bills 28, Patriots 14

Tru Legend’s seventh-seeded Bills delivered one of the round’s biggest upsets, eliminating Foody’s No. 2 Patriots behind a spectacular performance from James Cook III.

Cook rushed for 259 yards and all four Buffalo touchdowns on just 19 carries, averaging 13.6 yards per attempt. Josh Allen needed only 10 pass attempts as Buffalo’s ground game carried the offense.

The Bills also intercepted Drake Maye three times. New England got 112 receiving yards from A.J. Brown and two rushing touchdowns from Maye, but Foody’s offense could not match Buffalo’s production.

Tru Legend advances with a rushing attack that demands attention.

Berko edges Huncho in Jacksonville — Chargers 30, Jaguars 28

Berko’s sixth-seeded Chargers knocked out Huncho’s No. 3 Jaguars in a two-point road victory.

Justin Herbert threw for 330 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. Oronde Gadsden caught seven passes for 116 yards and a touchdown, while Ladd McConkey added 75 yards and another score.

Trevor Lawrence accounted for all four Jacksonville touchdowns—two passing and two rushing—but also threw two interceptions. Cameron Dicker converted three field goals for Los Angeles.

The box score points to ball security as an important separator: Berko got a productive, interception-free performance from Herbert in a game with almost no margin for error.

Automatic COB powers Kansas City past WRWoody — Chiefs 44, Browns 28

Automatic COB kept the fourth-seeded Chiefs moving with a 16-point victory over WRWoody’s Browns, the largest winning margin of the round.

Patrick Mahomes completed 13 of 14 passes for 259 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions. Kenneth Walker supplied 185 rushing yards and three touchdowns, while Xavier Worthy caught four passes for 135 yards and two scores.

Chris Jones added three sacks to Kansas City’s performance.

WRWoody got 343 passing yards and three touchdowns from Taylen Green, but Cleveland could not match the Chiefs’ output. Automatic COB advances after showing production through the air, on the ground and in the pass rush.

Assassin eliminates Blaze in a 96-point shootout — Falcons 49, Commanders 47

Assassin’s seventh-seeded Falcons handed Blaze’s No. 2 Commanders a brutal playoff exit, winning a game in which Washington scored 47 points at home.

Michael Penix Jr. completed 17 of 21 passes for 383 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions. Zachariah Branch produced 133 receiving yards, and Kyle Pitts Sr. added 106 yards and two touchdowns.

Blaze answered with 482 passing yards and five touchdowns from Jayden Daniels. Jaydon Blue caught 12 passes for 155 yards, while Terry McLaurin scored twice.

Jessie Bates III recorded Atlanta’s interception. Assassin emerged from the shootout with the NFC’s biggest upset and a place in the final eight.

Limitless takes the division rivalry from Memphis Doug — Buccaneers 28, Saints 25

Limitless sent sixth-seeded Tampa Bay into New Orleans and came away with a three-point victory over Memphis Doug’s No. 3 Saints.

Baker Mayfield threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns, then added a rushing score. Ted Hurst III led the Buccaneers with six catches for 85 yards.

J.J. McCarthy threw three touchdown passes for New Orleans, including two to Juwan Johnson, but finished with 204 yards and an interception. Chase Young registered 2.5 sacks in the losing effort.

For Limitless, the result carries extra weight: a division opponent eliminated on its own field, with Tampa Bay’s championship hopes intact.

King wins the aerial battle against TG — Cardinals 51, Bears 45

King’s Cardinals survived TG’s Bears behind the round’s most prolific passing performance.

Joe Milton threw for 527 yards and six touchdowns without an interception. Dont’e Thornton Jr. caught seven passes for 242 yards and three scores, repeatedly stretching Chicago’s defense.

TG had substantial answers. Caleb Williams threw for 319 yards and four touchdowns, Zavion Thomas totaled 209 receiving yards and two scores, and D’Andre Swift rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns.

Chicago produced 45 points and still fell short. King advances with an offense capable of overwhelming an opponent—and a defense that will need to tighten up as the field narrows.

Va Dimes and Saint get their first challengers

Va Dimes brings a 17–0 Ravens team into a matchup with Tru Legend’s Bills. Saint’s 16–1 Packers will host Assassin’s Falcons.

The other Divisional Round games send Berko’s Chargers to Automatic COB’s Chiefs and Limitless’ Buccaneers to King’s Cardinals.

The popular Va Dimes–Saint Super Bowl prediction remains alive. Buffalo’s ground game and Atlanta’s passing efficiency now stand directly in its way.

Tru Legend and Assassin have already eliminated a No. 2 seed apiece. Each gets a No. 1 next.
