MTV Famous and Raiders overwhelm Berko’s Chargers in MUFL Week 2 Game of the Week

The Week 2 spotlight belonged to Berko and MTV Famous. By the final whistle, Famous had turned the AFC West matchup into a statement win, taking his Raiders on the road and putting up 66 points against Berko’s Chargers.

Fernando Mendoza drove the Las Vegas passing attack, completing 25 of 33 attempts for 444 yards and six touchdowns. Jeremiyah Love gave Famous another way to move the ball, rushing for 152 yards and two scores. The Raiders finished with 588 yards of offense and 27 first downs as they improved to 2–0.

Berko had answers through the air. Justin Herbert threw for 443 yards and four touchdowns, and Brenen Thompson made the game’s biggest receiving impact: 217 yards and two touchdowns on four catches. But Herbert also threw three interceptions, while Las Vegas recorded five sacks. Nakobe Dean accounted for three of those sacks, and Eric Stokes came away with two interceptions.

Famous spread the production across his offense. Nico Collins caught six passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns; Brock Bowers added 100 receiving yards and a score. Love’s work on the ground made the Raiders difficult to contain even when the Chargers threatened to match them through the air.

For Berko, the 34 points and Thompson’s explosive night showed what the Chargers can do offensively. Week 2 also showed how costly three turnovers can be against a Raiders team scoring at this pace.
