Congratulations to Gary Lewis aka VA Dimes on being crowned the new King of the Madden Underground Hill. Gary Wowed tourney participants by pulling off a 17 to 14 upset over MF Crew and DDMC League member J woods. He Went on to defeat Michigan native John Johnson in the sweet sixteen 21 to 15. After two hard fought battles he seemed to be focused going into his elite 8 game with the Madden Underground youngster Destine Brave, The combination of experience and superior skill enabled Va Dimes to defeat Brave 23 to 0. Dimes went into the final 4 pumped after his last victory. Facing a dominant Philly Guy a fellow WCMPL member who had yet to have a single touchdown scored him. Va Dimes refusing to be denied managed to score 2 touchdowns on Philly guy’s fierce defense while holding him score less in a 14 to 0 victory. That win landed Dimes in the Championship round facing off with Geoffrey Sweets Aka ooogotem who was a forced to be wreck en with the entire tournament . Dimes Jumped out to a 14 -0 lead and managed to hold him to secure a 21-14 victory making him this years King of the Hill Champion. Earning 320.oo dollars in cash and free entry into the Shut up and Ball 10,000 dollar Tournament.
