LEAGUE TRANSFER TO UPDATED LEAGUE
I’m sure you have all heard about the issues with Connected Franchise since the recent Title Update on Tuesday. We have worked very closely with some of the main guys at EA regarding the issues and here is what they are suggesting. They are telling us that we need to start our league over because the patch does not apply to our current league. One example of how this affects us is all the rookies in the upcoming draft class will only be normal or star. No Superstars also they won’t develop correctly and the lineman wont receive their traits. There are many other issues, too many to list here.
It is Very important that you follow the instructions listed below to make this a smooth transition.
Some of the instructions are different than before so please read.
***DO NOT DELETE, RESIGN OR QUIT FROM CURRENT LEAGUE UNTIL INSTRUCTED TO DO SO PLEASE***
#1. You will all receive a NEW league invite today at some time. Select your team you drafted, no switching teams. Next create a new coach, no default coaches. DO NOT trade or sign any free agents until instructed to do so.
#2. The team ratings will all look different because we have taken the time to reconstruct your team exactly how you have it in our current league. ALL your trades, FA pickups, etc have been done for you. There are a few minor exceptions that are injury related and easy fixes. We will talk to those individuals and get them taken care of. There was a roster update Thursday so some ratings may have move up or down 1 point or so.
**INSPECT YOUR TEAM AND LET US KNOW IF WE MISSED ANY PLAYER.
3. WE ARE NOT STARTING OVER. We will begin simming Preseason on Sunday at 2:30pst/5:30est. Preseason will last 30min for each week. We are NOT playing the games. The 30 minutes is for you to have time to manage your team. Once all 4 weeks are done, we will allow 15 minutes each for the first 3 weeks of regular season. Again, to manage your team only. We are simming weeks 1-3 based on our current scores and results. If you won your game you will get your win.
4. Those of you that had draft picks included in trade will receive instructions on where you need to send your picks and how that process will work in your Inbox. No need to flood the league with tasks for individuals.
5. No player contracts will be affected, it will be exactly how it was in the other league.
Kick off weekend
8/16/19
The MUPL is set to kick off this weekend as planned. We are going to open the league up today at 2pm pst. You will be sent the League name and password to join. Each member gets to pick ONE free agent upon joining the league. The order is the reverse order of the draft. So whoever had pick 32 in the draft, will receive league login information first and an opportunity to sign 1 free agent upon joining the league . We will not hold up the league if you are not available just join and sign one free agent when you are. Please read the instructions below on how to proceed once you get the league information. Please follow ALL instructions, veterans this means you too. Failure to follow instructions could create problems for the league and delay the experience for all members involved.
- When you receive your MUPL Invite, go to “Franchise” mode and do a league search with the instructions given to you.
- Chose the team that you selected in this years MUPL Madden 20 Draft.
- On the next screen you have 2 things to do. First create a coach. We do not use the stock coaches, you MUST create a coach. Select “USE CUSTOM COACH” to create one. Next on the bottom of the page there is a “League Settings” tab. Select it, review the settings, then at the very bottom, TURN OFF “Fill Rosters”.
- Lastly, select to begin play at the very top.
*YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO SIGN 1 FA. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY OTHER CHANGES OR ADJUSTMENTS TO YOUR ROSTER UNTIL THE FREE AGENCY PERIOD IS COMPLETE. THIS INCLUDES TRADES, EQUIPMENT CHANGES, OR ANY OTHER ACTION THAT WILL SHOW UP IN THE TRANSACTION LOG. Thank you.

For those of you receiving development upgrades, you must make your decision on who you want upgraded by week Midnight pst tonight Friday 2/16 and submit them by midnight pst by clicking here

*PRESEASON
We will use Preseason as a practice ground to contact your opponents and schedule games.
Preseason schedule is as follows: (ALL times are pst)
Week 1–Friday 8/16 to Saturday 8/17 at 2pm
Week 2–Saturday 8/17 at 2pm to Saturday 8/17 at 10pm
Week 3–Saturday 8/17 at 10pm to Sunday 8/18 at 2pm.
Week 4–Sunday 8/18 at 2pm to Monday 8/19 Midnight.(Sunday night)

All trades are subject to League Officials review.
*KEY NOTE
Connected Franchise has a ton of bugs and issues that EA is aware of and is working on fixing. A complete overhaul is expected in late August/early September.
