HONEY BADGER POUNCES TWICE
Tyrann Mathieu returned a Colin Kaepernick pass 33 yards for a score in the first quarter of the Cardinals’ 47-17 blowout of the 49ers on Sunday. He picked Kap again later in the game, and gave the ball to a boy in the stands. This Honey Badger really does care. Mathieu gets +3 OVR (87), +5 to Awareness (75), and +3 to both Catching (78) and Play Recognition (83).
JULIO HAVING BEST START EVER
It’s only been three weeks, but Julio Jones is having a historic start to the 2015 season with 34 total receptions and more than 135 receiving yards in each game. Last Sunday alone, Jones caught 12 for 164 yards and two touchdowns on 20 targets versus the Cowboys. Julio gets +1 OVR (97), +2 to Awareness (88), and +1 to Carrying (78).
PRE-SNAP ANDY MAKES THE RIGHT READS
The Bengals’ offense features shifts, motions, and quick reads. Andy Dalton now has Peyton Manning-like freedom to change plays and on Sunday earned a QB rating of 122.3 with 20/32 for 383 yards and three touchdowns. “He is the orchestrator of it all,” says offensive coordinator Hue Jackson. Dalton gets +2 OVR (84), +3 to Awareness (86), and +2 to Throw Accuracy Deep (71).
